Stainless steel bench plaques
A modern silver plaque that won’t rust or tarnish, engraved for memorial, garden and club benches. Stainless steel needs almost no care, which makes it a good choice for exposed and coastal spots. Engraved in our Cardiff workshop, with a free proof before anything is engraved and no minimum order.
Stays bright
Stainless steel keeps its silver finish outdoors for years. An occasional wipe with warm soapy water is all it needs.
Clear from a distance
Engraved lettering stands out against the silver. Classic Roman, Modern or Engraved capitals are the easiest to read from a step or two away.

Every plaque with screw holes comes with stainless steel screws, so it won’t stain the wood. Usually ready 10–14 working days after you approve the proof, then posted to you.

Will a stainless steel plaque rust?
No. Stainless steel won’t rust or tarnish outdoors, which is why it’s often chosen for exposed and coastal spots.
Is stainless steel or brass better for a bench?
Both last well outdoors. Stainless steel stays silver with almost no care. Brass has a warmer, traditional look and darkens with age unless it’s polished.
How do I clean a stainless steel plaque?
Wipe it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. That’s usually all it needs.
