Pet memorial bench plaques
Remember a much-loved dog, cat or other pet with an engraved plaque on a garden bench or along a favourite walk. Brass or stainless steel, with a paw print or heart if you’d like one. Engraved in our Cardiff workshop, with a free proof before anything is engraved and no minimum order.
Add a paw print
A small paw print or heart above the name is a lovely touch. Choose one in the designer and it will be on your proof.
Keep it short
A name, a short line and the years usually look best. Fewer words mean bigger letters, so an 8 x 3" plaque is often enough.

Council bench schemes have their own rules about what a plaque can say, so check first. Take the 1-minute check.

Every plaque with screw holes comes with stainless steel screws, so it won’t stain the wood. Usually ready 10–14 working days after you approve the proof, then posted to you.

What do you write on a pet memorial plaque?

Can I add a paw print?
Yes. Choose the paw print or heart in the plaque designer, or send us your own emblem and we’ll show it on your proof.
Can I put a pet memorial plaque on a park bench?
Only if the bench owner allows it. Council bench schemes set their own rules about dedications, so check with them first. Garden and private benches are up to you.
Which size suits a pet memorial plaque?
An 8 x 3 inch plaque suits a name and a short line. For a longer message or a larger emblem, choose 6 x 4 inches or bigger.
